Menopause is your final menstrual cycle. Ovaries are left without eggs and hormone levels drop. During your adult life, hormones help control many bodily functions which include sexual function, conception, energy, sleep, cellular repair, growth and metabolism.
As hormone levels drop, all the above functions change and hot flushes appear. There may also be discomfort in your joints.
What I share has nothing to do with HRT or any other medical aspect. Menopause begins in the late 40s, early 50s for most women. As a Reflexologist since 1999, I have worked with many women to balance their hormones and ease symptoms. Many women do not know what is happening to them and how it can impact them. I want everyone who is suffering with menopause symptoms to get insights on how adjusting lifestyle and Reflexology techniques can support them.
